Misuse
What never to do with the logo.
Do not
The logo is a finished piece of artwork. Use the files as they are.
- Don't stretch or squash it. Scale it by its corners only.
- Don't recolor it. Only blue or white, never navy, orange, black, a gradient or a tint.
- Don't retype the wordmark. Not in Poppins, not in anything else.
- Don't rearrange it. The pin is always to the left of the wordmark, at the same size and distance. Don't stack them, swap them or change the gap.
- Don't rotate it or set it at an angle.
- Don't add effects. No shadows, outlines, glows, bevels or 3D.
- Don't put it in a shape other than the blue square of the symbol or a blue block.
- Don't place it on a busy background. On a photo, use white, and only where the photo is calm and dark enough behind it.
- Don't put blue on blue. On SimplePark blue, use the white logo.
- Don't crowd it. Keep the clear space.
- Don't make it part of a sentence. In text, write SimplePark; the logo is not a word.
- Don't combine it with another logo in one lockup. For partnerships, place the logos side by side with clear space between them and a thin divider.
One exception: the pin as a drawing
On a reading page, like the story on the about page, the pin may appear on its own as an illustration: laid on its side at 45 degrees to the left, drawn in thin lines as a slab with a fine hatching on top, in navy softened to grey. It is a drawing of the pin, never the logo: no wordmark next to it, no blue, and never where the logo itself is expected.
