Feature names
We name a feature only when people need to find it or talk about it. Most things are just described: automatic payment is a description, not a brand name.
- Descriptive, in the customer's language. A name says what it does: Automatic payment, End time, not an invented word.
- Sentence case. Automatic payment, not Automatic Payment.
- Translated the same way as all copy, never mixing languages in one text.
| Feature | Name |
|---|---|
| Parking on behalf of an organization | SimplePark Business |
| Paying afterwards, once a month | Automatic payment |
Business is part of the product name, so it takes a capital B. When it is just an adjective, it doesn't: "Choose Business or Private" on a button, "you park for business" in a sentence.
